Whatever happens to reading, writing, and arithmetic skills that were vital?
Quick to rattle off all of the Kardashians to knowing who won American Idol
Rinsing out the righteous teaching and entering the age of ignorance
Multiethnic devils making dollars while we don’t make any sense
Is an era gone that was once full of promise and prominence?
A super poligrip on the psyche and pulse of the world while maintaining dominance
Trained to awake on a daily just to run in the rat race
All while maintaining a closed mind and staying in one’s place
Awed and infatuated by the latest trend, gossip, or tweet
The truth can be bitter going down to those whose appetite for destruction was once accustomed to the sweet meat
