I once asked myself
If there was something that can’t be found
To which I could supply no answer.
To the brink of life and death I asked
This question, which they couldn’t answer.
This same question I put before
The crystals that mantled the mountains
Which was to them a riddle unsolved.
‘Is there something that can’t be found?’
This question couldn’t be answered by
The base of the ocean floor, even
The endless stretch of time, space and
Quantities, only unaffected
By finite variations;
The answer I’m told is got
When I reach where two lines parallel meet.
