Grapes

 They

hang

on

vines

glistening in shades of violet

when raindrops dance

so sweet

so juicy

nectar dripping on my lips

in a flavored romance

until along came a spider

and a few hundred kin

I dumped that bunch of grapes

like we were living in sin
