I just want to write, that’s all I want to do.
But how can I do that stuck in labor zoo?
“Get back to work, you lazy bum, you!”
It’s lunch break and I’m writing my word stew…
Let me crack open my head and feed you my brain.
Must you stare at these words like I am insane?
I made you a stew! I hope not too runny.
Eat it up, now. It’s good for you, honey!
My ingredients are natural and loving and pure.
If you are blinded by hate, my stew is the cure.
If you find your thoughts take turn to ambivalence,
My stew can remove your cognitive dissonance.
So, delight in this meal I have made here for you,
And enjoy a big bowl of Christopher’s Word Stew.
