Mmm. The wine of lies tastes so good.
So much better than the truth ever could.
Honesty is bitter and dry as old wood.
It sticks in the throat like a splinter would.
The wine goes down easy, sweet on the lips.
It quenches the thirst with the very first sip
But then it grows into a bottomless pit.
Consuming itself and all who drank it.
