Come, my life. Three small words that held such promise, longing for another grown so quickly, yet felt for lifetimes before they met. She is cautious and wandering; he is searching and yearning for one to share a lifetime swiftly fleeting.
Come, my life. They are whispered to her through centuries of burning, wanting so to find one to celebrate her fire. Timidly she lifts her head still not quite sure these words are meant for her.
Come, my life. They are uttered in a moment of passion and with open arms built to embrace her flames. He stands waiting to show her the goddess within she’s forgotten.
Come, my life. The flame grows brighter.
