Author Veronica Thornton: It’s There

You’ve come too far to quit

stop for a second

and pay attention to the writing on the wall

if you can’t see the writings from a distance get closer

regardless of the hurdles

jump them with persistence

get close enough to make out the words

and think about what you have and haven’t heard

keep moving and listen

to the call of the writings on the walls

they’re trying to explain the situation

and get you to a path that guides you to your destination

hear your intuition and you will see the story it tells

although sometimes we don’t put it together so well

and we end up descending deeper into a living hell

no matter how deep you go

the writing is there for whenever you’re ready to know

it starts out blurry and then becomes clear

and one by one you’re forced to bury misplaced fears

it may take some time but you dig yourself out of that hole

and put back together the pieces of your soul

creating a new story to be told

descension to ascension with new thoughts transcending

even if the problems look like an algebraic equation

just like math there’s an answer to every situation

sometimes it just takes a little more mental manipulation

the more you pull yourself out the well

the more you realize how far you actually fell

but once you see the writings on the walls

you will notice where you began to fall

then read back the story later of how you got through it all.
