I reach for the light in my imagination;
a life raft, among a sea of despair.
Darkness threatens to drown me;
days filled, with unanswered prayers.
The lantern shines brightly; it gives me hope;
as I grasp for the strength to swim;
Moments filled with smiles and love;
keep me afloat, while the moon is dim.
