Spotlight Poet: Elizabeth Diane Daniel

Everyone Writes Poetry In The Shower…Right?

Posted on the shower wall,

Drawing pictures of random thoughts,

Bubbles as ink across a blank canvas,

As light seeps in above,

From the window no one can reach,

Loofahs can’t wash over the memories,

Never that easy,

Suddenly the temperature changes,

Even the water feels the pressure of being indecisive.
