Thoughts of Her
I watched the world burn, your memory dancing in the flame,
listening to the echoes of my silence sigh your name,
I bow my head In musing with a mask to hide the pain,
I can’t even cry no more so I envy every drop of rain,
Because that empty hollow feeling that your leaving left behind,
has got me playing movies that I recorded in my mind,
emotionless I watch them even some I might rewind,
sometimes it’s hard to sleep because I’m haunted by your eyes,
I am not the same no more and inside I’m marked with scars,
bitter regrets I cannot change what plagued what once was ours,
I used to hold the heavens now its dark without the stars,
I try to hold your image but you always leave my arms….
