Author Hannah: Beautiful Passengers

Smiling strangers

Hesitant to speak,

Passing passengers

Avoiding eyes,

Too shy to ever meet,

Striding through the confusion.

When I passed you I knew you,

I saw the blue babe you once were,

When you knew how to breathe,

And felt laughter,

I tasted the odor that only you own,

I felt you with no touch,

In a moment I knew you,

I am you.

Beautiful passengers I walk by.

About the Author

I grew up in a small town in Florida where I currently live. A pretty normal 90’s childhood. The youngest of three. A proud Aunt. A current college graduate figuring it all out. I’ve always enjoyed writing and songwriting. A big fan of 60’s Rock ‘n’ Roll helped guide me towards my love for poetry. I look forward to the many adventures ahead.
