Alive
Alive
My heart beats an eight count rhythm
As I waltz through my pain
Wild flowers tickling my toes
A warm breeze brushes my
hair
The sun’s rays surround me with golden glows of energy
I lay myself down on a bed of petals
Birds singing me a lullaby
I dream
Everything in the world is how it should be.
Awaking
The sun has hidden it’s face behind the hills
Darkness and cold is covering my uncovered back and breasts with their chilly arms
This glorious day has come to an end
Strolling down the hillside
Alive
If for only one day
Feeling
Alive
