Author Nolan P. Holloway, Jr: Knowledge Overcast

Searching for the sunshine

But it is hidden by the clouds

Shining but blocked so the light is turned away

I am alone with my actions and saddened

The love I professed should have taken a different path

My imperfection mocks me without ceasing

Your words echo in my mind

How can intentions formed in love be perverted into anger

I struggle to understand its meaning

By as I look for the one ray of light

That lives inside me, that love that I truly have for you

I know in my heart you love me

The insecurities within me lie

Not sure why I listened-doubt crept in because I guess I doubted

Please forgive me and allow the clouds to pass so my ray of light

Can be felt by you

One thing that I know is true
