Spotlight Poet: Markus Fleischmann

Home should be a sanctuary

Not a memory cemetery

Nor a saddened mortuary

Home is comfort

A soul’s fort

A heart’s resort

Home is happiness

No room for regret

A place of daily worries

To let go and forget

Home isn’t just four walls

It is a part

A well decorated space of art

Not just paint

But the resting place

Of a satiated heart

Home is a nest

Warm to the guest

Shadows won’t be ghosts

Only joy and security

Entertain the host

Home is where dreams

Taste like bliss

Where the soul

Finds itself sun kissed

And laughter no longer is missed

I’m glad

Home is where I am

( Crow Cries)
