Don’t let go
Please
Hold on with all that is
You
Grasp firmly with your
Heart
Shackle me with your
Love
Bind me with your
Mind
Imprison me with your
Soul
Just don’t let go
Once
If you do I will be empty of
You
I will float
Aloft
Like balloons filled with
Love
I become mist
Smoke
Thinned in air
A dream faded with time
Please
Hold on
Let go of me
Not
For your love I
Yearn
I fear I’ll become
Lost
Unable to return in light of
Sun
Glow of moon like dying
Star
I become consumed
I will burn
