Confessions – Author Bevan Boggenpoel

Jotted down in ink

I’m confessing what I think

I’m making my feelings known

like exposing skeleton bone.

I’m letting it out of the closet

I’m taking it out of my pocket

I’m setting myself free

from mountains of secrecy.

I’m refusing to be consumed

by lies that have ruined

so many lives along my path

I’m shaking out my heart

I’m setting my mind at ease

ridding myself of this disease.

Undisclosed information that I’ve stored

can no longer be adored

I’m letting it all out

confessions are what I am about

Jotted down in ink

I’m confessing what I think.
