Suicide Poemer – Author Christopher Allen Breidinger

My poems are strapped on.

I’m ready to go.

These words are wired with truth

And set to blow.

Time for silence is dead.

I’m screaming to bleed.

I’ve got my poems wrapped tight

Around this need.

I walk the market square

And it’s all just a lie.

Every soul is for sale,

As you die, buy, buy!

And everything is removed

And held by hands

That don’t even own themselves

But claim these lands.

Now, I enter the center.

My words give twitch.

My last poem is written

And my pen is the switch.

The final drop of my ink

Fades black to red.

My poems are my suicide

Leaving them dead.
