Unknown – Author A.M. Torres

Bottom of Form

She raises her arm;

The child is confused,
She smashes her cats;

Now Mommy’s unglued.
Get out of there now;

Her father yells out
It all falls on him;

To get her out fast.
She’s done this before

They took her away,
The little girl cries;

For Mommy, must stay.
Her siblings cry too,

The girl’s not alone,
They all feel her pain;

In facing the unknown.
Something went wrong

The girl wonders what
She thinks it’s her fault

She made Mommy snap.
