Almost Perfect – Author Adam Levon Brown

It’s almost perfect, the way she sees the world, like

it’s a place for hopeful beginnings and happy endings

It’s almost perfect, the way she talks to me and the

way she soothes me with her lullaby that promises

that everything will be alright

It’s almost Perfect the way she smiles, that one

small gesture brightening my entire day

Perfection is unattainable…

but she comes as close to perfect

as you can ever get.

  1. I enjoyed reading your poem “Almost Perfect”. After reading your poem the only thing that came to mind is as follows:

The desire to desire for something of which there has been a desire prior is no longer a desire
    It’s passion
Defintely life has changed after falling in love
    Time flies
Passion remains an indispensible part of life
    Life continues with same.
