Book of Mirrors – Author Ken Allan Dronsfield

A scroll unrolled into

piercing hollow eyes;

woeful disturbed mind,

creature of the myths.

Tarnished broken halo

into a shadowed veil

hiding a crimson heart

where Raven’s roost.

The Book of Mirrors is

shattered into the sky

of colored faceted jewels

a cross dagger of piety.

Pages slashed or set afire

while Lime Rickey’s sour

in a deep inhaled voice;

enchanted Faeries sing.
