Love and Peace – Author Adam Levon Brown

I say this with love, and a mind full of peace

my yearning for unrestrained cooperation will never cease

The obedient, unthinking sheep thrive

while the conscientious, free thinkers strive

for a better world without guns or war

without gods and countries to kill for

I say this not with a heart full of hate

not with greed that possessions will never sate

propaganda played through the loud speaker is what I hear

It fills people with terrorized thoughts, emotions, and fear

I see through the metaphorical bullets and haze

while the majority are stuck in the maze

of half truths and abysmal lies

obedience to them crossly defies

common sense and the ability to ask why

I say this with love, and a mind full of peace

my yearning for unrestrained cooperation will never cease.
