New Sun, Old Star – Author Christopher Allen Breidinger

What if everything you thought you knew, was just a lie fashioned in truth, by the corruption of power with greed and lust? Who do you trust? Is it any one of us? Just get on the bus and keep your mouth shut.

There’s a war on every shore, you can be sure, those intentions are never pure, and when they’ve sold their souls for diamonds and gold, you’re just a mold, a perforation caught in the fold, used and discarded when you get old, or resist, or open your eyes like this, and refuse to walk like the rest.

Just imagine, if you will, if you would, if we could take a different path where peace is an actual fact, and wide spread love is the aftermath of a third world war fought with kisses and hugs, the universal drug, the reality we’ve been escaping from.

We could be so much more than what we are. It feels so close but seems so far. How does this species raise the bar? How do we find a new sun inside that old star?
