Silence made love to you
Years of hidden dreams
Come true
Fears took hold of you
Imprisoned your heart
In the depth of you
Darkness hid what was true
Silence made love to you
The world forgot you
Left you shattered
In its clouds
No one cared to hear your cries
No one offered words of comfort
Years gone by so long
Yet you remained strong
Searching for where you belonged
Silence made love to you
Thoughts egress
As walls became the only witness
You lived in life’s forest
Trees sheltering you from storms
Hope eaten by doubts worms
Yet you held on
Silence no longer touches you
Screaming thoughts
No longer strangle you
Loneliness no longer entertains you
I see you
I feel you
I need you
I choose you
I believe in you
I trust you
I desire you
Now in the silence
I’m the one who makes love to you

About the Author
Markus Fleischmann is a free thinker and writer who lives in Texas. For me, writing down my thoughts and experiences is an outlet, a release of emotions that I feel, and experiences and emotions of others. I am an empath which grants me the gift of heightened feeling in my surroundings. As a dreamer, free thinker and a peddler of words it brings me such great joy to be able to share this gift with others.
