Escape – Author Leon Pryce

I am a prisoner of life

Since the day of my birth

I`ve been held in bondage

Every day I woke up

I`ve been on the run

Trying to escape

If death is my only option

For a way out

I will die for my freedom

I would rather escape

Through the bottom of the grave

Escape

From the pressures of reality

Escape

From threatening circumstances

Which are weakening

The pillars of my life

I`ve been a fugitive on this earth

Roaming about

While my destiny weights

In the balance of fate

I`ve been seeking an escape

But this world

Has been holding me

In confinement

My desire to escape

Has negatively impacted

My mental stability

Will I ever break free

Or will I remain in captivity

While my hope of escaping

Fades away from me
