He, her heart’s liberator
Shackles shattered by his will
Sarcophagus heart reanimated
Runes etched upon her soul deciphered
She bathes in his rain
Cleansing her past pain
She, once a trinket
Now his priceless monument
Art crafted of heart
Tears cried in pain and shame
Flow freely of desire dreamt
He won’t carry her to future told
He constructed a paradise world
He won’t catch her fall
Take away reason of all
He won’t watch her crumble to dust
He strengthens her with his love
In her heart’s tomb unknown
He made his tranquil home
Unpainted walls scarred and mauled
No longer form a broken heart
He relinquished her tortured mind
Given the light to shine
Accepted her flaws
Made them facets
Gemstone beauty her assets
Her own mirror reflection jealous
Of her new found attraction
Cocooned soul free
Beautiful butterfly of perfection
