You have been here with me all these years
Through the joy, the heartaches, laughter, and tears
Even though I love you
I have fallen out of love
The spark and the excitement are no longer felt
My heart is like stone and no longer melts
My arms are empty, there are no hugs to be had
No kisses, no caresses, nothing, it’s so sad
But we stay together, go through the motions
We are like strangers drifting on separate oceans
This life that I live with you
This life that we share
Is leaving me broken, sad with despair
Fixing “us” was once my main goal
But I couldn’t do it all by myself, alone
Where do we end this?
What can I say?
Life is so unfair in so many ways
