I am the Wolf – Author Tracy Seiden

I am the wolf. Glittering eyes that pierce the darkness, single minded in my task to protect my heart, my pack. I am taken by the moon, howling through the night calling to my soul, my destiny, cycling through the phases all power and magic.

I am strength.

I am peace.

I am the rabbit darting here and there, nose quivering, eyes wildly searching, jumping at shadows. Danger around every corner, heart racing, rapid breathing, terrified, I am a creature of prey.

I am vulnerable.

I am doubt.

The wolf in me grows daily. She paces with quiet strength and grace, patient when the rabbit darts through as I give up the old fears and self-doubt. Even now I can feel the tug of the moon calling as my rabbit heart slows to match the rhythm in my soul.
