Storm ~ Author Donna J. Sanders

It was but a wisp

a favonian gale

that kissed my cheek after sunrise

Out the window

a gust

a few more flurries

palm fronds dancing with vigorous angst

they beckon to me

with chlorophyll fingers

to frolic in the mist

Not afraid

longing to be a gaffer’s sail

I inhaled

this welcome zephyr

from the storm
