Careless Whispers In Darkness – Author Tony Haynes

Careless whispers in darkness

And to the delight of my flowerbed

Revelations digging deeper

Enable me to hold them over a careless head

Leisurely weeding out vines with a vintage plow

Except for those that I can use to my advantage now

Since Careless whispers in darkness

Some unfortunate plight – this hour’s dread

Might just be the grimmest reaper

Every night in this garden…

…Hearts are soiled & hardened

As the careful groundskeeper

Waters down starkness

Careless whispers in darkness
