You are constantly looking into –

your phone

don’t even notice me when –

we’re home alone.

chatting and texting as –

you’re communicating

I’m longing for attention but –

you’re not even noticing.

as the days go by I –

sometimes cry

but you’re always in your phone just –

turning a blind eye.

your fancy phone filled –

with apps

has left our relationship filled –

with gaps.

I wish I was that smartphone that –

soaked up your attention

I wish I was those apps that –

enjoys all your affection.
