For My Beloved..
I love you simply
without complications
without complexities;
for we are complex enough
Time is not on our side,
but there is time enough
to love completely,
in the everyday,
appreciation is in tenderness
love is in the simple touch
and gifts of remembrance
that you listened to me
surprising me with little things
bigger because you remembered
largest because nobody else did
and I shall love you purely
as purely as love can permit
for the truest of love
is always felt in the little things
Big things, like an explosion,
are here, then gone;
while the accumulation of
the little things, given from
your purest of intentions
have wrapped me in your love
beyond all measure
beyond all time..
