My Darling Grandchildren,

Where do I begin to tell you just how much you mean to me and how you have fulfilled my dreams of being a grandmother.

Every moment we spend together is treasured. There are no diamonds, rubies, emeralds, or any other precious gems quite like the three of you!

Watching you change and grow has given me some of life’s greatest pleasures. You are constantly blowing me away with your talents and abilities. But most of all, the way you treat people, with kindness and love.

I’m so proud to call you my grandchildren. I talk about you to everyone I meet. You three have blessed me beyond all blessings.

Now that I am growing older and wiser, (ha ha ha), it comes to my attention, you three are now getting very independent, and will soon become adults. May you be the friend to the forlorn. The steady rock when another person tempts you to do something that you know isn’t morally, spiritually, and ethically right. A light in the storm to those who can not see their way on the path.

Deep down in your hearts , know that no matter how long I am here on this earth, you are loved and prayed for constantly. Once I leave this earth, a part of me will always be with you. Look in the mirror and a part of me will be smiling back at you.

So as I bring this letter to a close, let me say one more thing. Always have faith that there is Someone far greater than yourself, who is in control and has your best interest at heart….trust….

All my love,

Grams

… or aka Princess Ice Cream Squirrel Nut Poop (I still don’t know which one of you put that prank on my iPhone (Siri)…..it still makes me laugh!
