  2. Days go dark, but time still moves; it never rests. The past is hidden behind our consequences. And the present which we still hold on, crafting new and better choices like never before, just because we want to grow. And we do, with time; with newer consequences.

    What we want to become is hidden in what we do today. And what we were, has already passed, and only our minds can go there. We are here, right now, holding on to our dreams. Believing that one day we will become who we wish to be.
    And when that day comes, we will say that we were once, just a boy who dreamed of being a man, and now we have become men. Men who don’t dream, but walk through the day with their arms opened wide.

  3. Tiny fingers splayed
    rest within my palm
    Infant trust has no tongue
    reaching for security
    of touch, of warmth
    just as a baby bird holds
    open its upturned beak,
    sure that mother will
    deliver sustenance

    Tiny fingers rest
    assuredly within my
    palm; fingers splayed;
    an invitation to love
