Blood Flows by Maggie Mae

As my heart breaks open

Butterflies flutter by

Birds sing their happy song

My blood flows down the hillside

As the blood flows so does the pain

Wind rustled leaves float by

Wild flower scents drift in

The numbness has arrived

Oh how my broken heart bleeds

On a cool autumn day

Whispers on the wind

Will I ever mend again
