Fated by Adam Levon Brown

These words are pulled from my very aching heart

What you didn’t know is that you were wrong from the start

Looking deeply into your eyes, I know that we could never part

Being without you is the most lonely prison, and feels like being stung by a poison dart

A dart that injures, and sometimes even kills the soul

It leaves you with pain and heart full of ash and coal

The poison flows through your veins and takes its toll

to destroy everything you ever loved is its only goal

A goal of such spite and anger can never truly be sated

Death is the only product of such blood lust, and your life is forever fated

to be ended in a horrific way, love is the only cure and love cannot be dated
