What is a life worth?
We don’t quantify life at birth
Our sickness is a learned behavior
in our future I see no savior.
When innocent protesters are subjected to violence
they expect us all to sit here in peaceful silence?
Justice must eventually be served
even with a system that it is completely curved
in a way that favors white supremacy
and grants every killer cop clemency
African Americans make up 12% of America
yet 45% of the prison population is black,
what is this hysteria?
Black men and women taken from us in assassinations
What the fuck is wrong with this system that says fuck positive relations?
We must unite and fight this fascist machine
and overthrow the system that presents itself
as shiny and clean
It’s a system operating like a madman with a gun
it’s a theory and practice that we should all shun
Take the fight directly to the neoliberal offenders
Take it to the military industrial complex
and the crooked money lenders
Take it to the capitalists waging war on
the majority and the earth
Take it those who think they inherited this planet upon birth
Until we unite and stand
to directly oppose our so called leaders
our health, our community, our country, and our planet teeters on the brink of total destruction
overturn Citizens United and McCutcheon.
