Sentiments of his adoration, linger,
after he leaves the room, yet, she cries.
She holds on to last night’s memories,
never knowing, if they are goodbye.
Is her love enough, to be his forever?
No longer a thorn, her petals came alive,
an Irish Rose, hoping their love will survive.
