The Water by Susannah White

The water passing through may dream of a

                    day it’s stagnant.

The calm waters wish for one day you be able

                      to

run rampant.

Through free will is the urge for wants and

                              needs –

Through conditioned survival is lack of ability

                           to be free.

The water doesn’t care where it’s going.

No matter the obstacles – it proves to keep

                            flowing.

An everlasting course that is set,

even through interference the water will find

                             its way…

                    On this you can bet.

My goal is to be that free flowing stream,

not always have to have a destination or a

                              dream.

Enjoy every inch along the way,

be a part of nature that represents what the

                     world has to say.

Mother nature sets a perfect harmonious

                             balance,

no ambition for greed, power or malice.

We often forget that our instincts can be so

                                trusted.

We are under the impression everything must

                             be taught –

so many abilities have been forgot.

There’s so much beauty and talent to be found

                        in one’s own mind.

We focus so much on the outer world most

never get a chance to explore inside.

The beauty of my mind surpasses anything

                         I’ve ever seen –

something amazing grew from one little seed.

The seed planted and fertilized with the truth,

watered with hope and it sprouted anew.

I’ve come to learn that even in nature some

                    things lay dormant.

Without understanding of energy needing to be

                               stored,

most would think its pure torment.

To lay low under the ground,

building up energy until the next year you

                               sprout.

         Now that’s completely profound!

So many lessons to learn from all we share

                       this earth with,

put down conditioned survival and by the

                        flowing water…

                             GO SIT!

Where the Soul Wanders by Susannah white

A book with the capacity to open the mind and heart. Poet, Susannah White, has penned a candidly, albeit unflinching account of her journey to a spiritual life. She chooses to ‘walk in grace,’ giving herself the freedom to feel every human emotion without shame, asserting that we are too quick to medicate the mind, rather than meditate and find our true essence.
